Interactive Learning Program (ILP)

The Interactive Learning Program has an aim to teach you how to be proactive within your role in flood risk management by protecting own property in an effective and cost efficient manner.  It is based on the learning cycle of (Kolb/Fry 1975), dividing the learning process in four steps from concrete experience trough reflection followed by the abstraction of the concepts learnt, to testing the acquainted knowledge in new situations. The single steps together form a closed learning circle, which can be repeated if necessary and can be applied to any selected stakeholder group.

Apart from the workshops where we get together and learn about experiences, interests and problems regarding flooding, our learning concept involves on site events and the home learning.
